Energy Tracking’s ModBus TCP/IP Server Integration in WEM-MX 333mV.

Energy Tracking’s smart IP enabled meters allow reporting of energy usage in real time using
push technology. Based on user feedback, it became apparent that not all end users are ready to implement the latest reporting
technology such as using a SOAP XML client to transmit data via HTTP. The ability to pull information off a device on
the existing network using alternate protocols was also required. Energy Tracking is pleased to announce
the release for the WEM-MX 333mV which will integrate a ModBus TCP/IP Server. The ModBus TCP/IP enabled server can
be utilized by end users to request data in real-time... every 1 second if necessary.
The benefits that Energy Tracking is now providing is the ability of end user's to use the latest communication and
reporting technologies but also can fall back on other reporting means due to network or security issues.

The WEM-MX 333mV is a Web Enabled Meter that combines revenue grade electric metering accuracy and an Ethernet enabled
solution for two way communications and reporting on a smart grid. This smart Internet enabled energy meter provides
a superior solution with the ability to be accessed in real time via a standard web browser and be configured to send
consumption, demand and load profile reports via email, ftp, MODBUS and/or web service client using HTTP.
